Knock Knock

So we were driving in the car and I was trying to keep the boys occupied so they wouldn't kill each other in the backseat and since Ethan has been into knock knock jokes, thought I would try one of my own. The classic: "knock, knock.... who's there.... banana.... banana who..... knock, knock...... who's there.... banana.... banana who.... knock, knock...  who's there.... orange... orange who.... orange you glad I didn't say banana"

As Ethan just stared at me with a blank look of unamusement in the rear view mirror I said "Oh well, you'll get it when you are older" My brilliant son pipes up with "No mom, I get it now, I just didn't think it was very funny" Oh, bother
